Engin Hepsev, born in Istanbul in 1978, is a contemporary Turkish artist whose career has gained international recognition. After completing his education at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul, he earned a Master of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in the United States, solidifying an artistic practice between Turkey and America.

His work is known for its complex, multi-layered compositions, in which acrylic paint, collage, and fragments of paper and photography overlap to explore themes such as urban memory, identity, and the fragmentation of contemporary experience. His works, exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe and the United States, have been critically acclaimed, earning him significant awards. Among these is the prestigious grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, which has confirmed his significance on the global art scene.
