Éric Baugin
Éric Baugin is a French actor, known primarily for his career as a child actor in the 1970s. His most famous and iconic role is that of Pascal in the 1970 film *L'Enfant Sauvage* (The Wild Child), directed by François Truffaut, where he portrayed a child raised in the wild and rediscovered by civilization. His intense, almost entirely non-verbal performance earned him immediate recognition in arthouse cinema. Subsequently, Baugin collaborated with Truffaut again on the 1976 film *L'Argent de poche* (Small Change). After these significant experiences during his adolescence, his acting career did not continue with the same prominence, and he withdrew from public life. His name remains inextricably linked to his powerful performance in Truffaut's masterpiece, which stands as his primary artistic achievement.
