Érica Rivas is an Argentine film, television, and theater actress, born in Ramos Mejía on December 1, 1974. She gained widespread popularity in Argentina for her role as María Elena Fuseneco in the sitcom *Casados con hijos*, for which she received several awards, including the Martín Fierro Award. Internationally, she earned critical acclaim for her performance in the 2014 film *Wild Tales* (*Relatos salvajes*), which won her, among others, the Platino Award, the Sur Award, and the Silver Condor Award for Best Actress. Her filmography also includes important titles such as *La cordillera* (2017) and *Los sonámbulos* (2019), for which she again won the Silver Condor Award. Recognized for her versatility and the intensity of her performances, she is considered one of the most talented and respected actresses of her generation in Latin America.
