
Erzsebet Foldi
Erzsebet Foldi is an American actress, dancer, and singer, active primarily in the 1970s and 1980s. Born in 1967, she began her career at a young age, making her Broadway debut in 1973 in the Stephen Sondheim musical *A Little Night Music*, where she played the role of Fredrika Armfeldt. Her international fame is linked to the 1979 musical film *All That Jazz*, directed by Bob Fosse. In the film, Foldi portrays Michelle Gideon, the daughter of the protagonist Joe Gideon, delivering a memorable performance, particularly in the "There'll Be Some Changes Made" dance sequence. For this role, she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Her filmography also includes the television film *The Child Stealer* (1979). After retiring from acting, she dedicated herself to teaching.
