
Fatma Ceylan
Fatma Ceylan is a Turkish screenwriter and photographer, known for her established artistic collaboration with director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, with whom she has co-written several internationally acclaimed films. Her contribution has been instrumental in the writing of complex and literary works. Her most significant works include *Kuru Otlar Üstüne* (About Dry Grasses, 2023), which was presented in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, and *Ahlat Ağacı* (The Wild Pear Tree, 2018), also critically acclaimed. Her greatest recognition is for the film *Kış Uykusu* (Winter Sleep, 2014). The screenplay, which she co-wrote with Nuri Bilge and Ebru Ceylan, was a decisive factor in the film's Palme d'Or win at the 67th Cannes Film Festival.
