Fionn Whitehead

Fionn Whitehead is a British actor, born in London on July 18, 1997. He began his professional career in 2016 with the British television miniseries *Him*. He achieved international fame the following year, starring as the protagonist, the soldier Tommy, in Christopher Nolan's war film *Dunkirk* (2017). For this performance, he earned several nominations, including for Best Male Newcomer at the Empire Awards, and in 2016, he was named one of Screen International's "Stars of Tomorrow". He subsequently consolidated his career with prominent roles, such as in the drama *The Children Act* (2017), alongside Emma Thompson, and as the programmer Stefan Butler in the Netflix interactive film *Black Mirror: Bandersnatch* (2018). His filmography also includes appearances in films such as *The Duke* (2020), with Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren, and *Emily* (2022), in which he portrayed Branwell Brontë.
