Flavio Bucci (Turin, May 25, 1947 – Fiumicino, February 18, 2020) was an Italian actor, voice actor, and film producer. Trained at the School of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, he gained prominence in 1977 with his intense portrayal of the painter Antonio Ligabue in the eponymous television drama by Salvatore Nocita, a role that earned him the Nastro d'Argento for Best Actor. His film career includes appearances in notable films such as *Suspiria* (1977) by Dario Argento, *Il marchese del Grillo* (1981) by Mario Monicelli, in the memorable role of the brigand Don Bastiano, and the more recent *Il divo* (2008) by Paolo Sorrentino. Also active in television, he took part in successful productions such as *La piovra*. Gifted with a deep and unmistakable voice, he was also an acclaimed voice actor, lending his voice, among others, to John Travolta in cult films such as *Saturday Night Fever* and *Pulp Fiction*. Considered one of the most versatile performers of his generation, he received a special David di Donatello award in 1978.
