Forrester Harvey (Cork, June 27, 1884 – Laguna Beach, December 14, 1945) was an Irish actor. He began his career in British vaudeville before moving to Hollywood, where he became one of the most prolific and recognizable character actors of classic American cinema. He specialized in supporting roles, often playing comedic, working-class characters with a marked cockney or rural accent. His filmography includes appearances in highly successful films directed by leading directors. Among his most notable appearances are roles in James Whale's *The Invisible Man* (1933), *Captain Blood* (1935), Alfred Hitchcock's *Rebecca* (1940), and *The Wolf Man* (1941). Although he received no formal awards, his recognition lies in his extensive career of over one hundred films, which made him a familiar face and an essential presence in numerous productions of Hollywood's Golden Age.
