Francisco Milani
Francisco Milani (São Paulo, November 19, 1936 – Rio de Janeiro, August 13, 2005) was a Brazilian actor, comedian, voice actor, and politician, a multifaceted figure in his country's entertainment industry. His long career spanned film, television, and theater, gaining great popularity especially in the comedy genre. He appeared in important films such as Glauber Rocha's *Terra em Transe* (1967), but it was on television that he consolidated his fame, particularly in Rede Globo comedy shows such as *Zorra Total* and *Escolinha do Professor Raimundo*, where he became famous for the character of Pedro Pedreira and his catchphrase, "Pergunta idiota, tolerância zero!". His deep voice also made him a much sought-after voice actor; among his most recognized roles are the mammoth Manny in the *Ice Age* franchise, Professor Farnsworth in *Futurama*, and the narrator of the animated series *The Powerpuff Girls*. Parallel to his artistic career, Milani was also active in politics, being elected a city councilor in Rio de Janeiro for the Communist Party of Brazil.
