Frank Latimore
Frank Latimore, stage name of Franklin Latimore Kline (Darien, September 28, 1925 – London, November 29, 1998), was an American actor. He began his career in Hollywood in the 1940s, under contract with 20th Century Fox, where he appeared in supporting roles in films such as *The Razor's Edge* (1946) and *13 Rue Madeleine* (1947). At the end of the decade, he moved to Europe, settling primarily in Italy, where his career took off. He became a very popular figure in genre cinema, establishing himself as a leading man in numerous adventure, peplum, and Spaghetti Western films, most notably *The Count of Monte Cristo* (1954), *Zorro at the Court of Spain* (1962), and *Taste of Killing* (1966). From the 1960s, alongside his acting, he pursued a prolific career in dubbing, becoming a respected voice actor and dubbing director for the English-language versions of many Italian films. Although he did not receive any major awards, his main recognition was the lasting popularity he achieved in Italy as a reliable leading man in post-war entertainment cinema.
