Gaël Murguia-Fur is a French game designer and director, known for his work in the video game industry. His career gained international prominence with his role as lead game designer for the action game *Asura's Wrath* (2012), developed by CyberConnect2. He later joined Tango Gameworks, where he directed the acclaimed *Hi-Fi Rush* (2023). This work stood out for its innovative blend of rhythm and action gameplay, combined with a vibrant cel-shaded visual style. The game received widespread critical acclaim and numerous international awards, including a BAFTA Games Award for Best Animation, a The Game Award for Best Audio Design, and a Game Developers Choice Award. Following the closure of Tango Gameworks, he founded a new independent development studio called Un-Caged in 2024.
