Gaylen Ross, born Gail Sue Rosenblum, is an American actress, director, and producer. She is best known to the general public for her roles in George A. Romero's horror films, playing Francine Parker in the cult classic *Dawn of the Dead* (1978) and Becky Vickers in the "Something to Tide You Over" segment of the anthology film *Creepshow* (1982). She later left acting to focus on directing documentaries, founding her own production company, GR Films. Her most significant works include *Dealers Among Dealers* (1995), an investigation into the world of diamond dealers, and the acclaimed *Killing Kasztner* (2008), about the controversial figure of Rudolf Kasztner. Her career as a documentary filmmaker has earned her numerous international awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at the DOC NYC festival for her film *Ximei* (2019), about a Chinese AIDS activist.
