Geneviève Rioux, born in 1961, is a Canadian actress from Québec, known for her versatile career in film, television, and theater. She achieved international recognition for her roles in the films of Denys Arcand, playing the student Danielle in *The Decline of the American Empire* (1986) and reprising the role in the Oscar-winning sequel, *The Barbarian Invasions* (2003).
