Giuliana Calandra (1936-2018) was an Italian actress, journalist, and television presenter. Her career, which began in theater, soon extended to film and television, where she demonstrated great versatility. She was directed by some of Italy's most prominent directors, playing significant roles in films such as Dario Argento's *Profondo Rosso* (Deep Red), in the memorable role of writer Amanda Righetti, Lina Wertmüller's *Film d'amore e d'anarchia...* (Love and Anarchy), and Ettore Scola's *La terrazza* (The Terrace). Her filmography ranges from comedy, with cult titles such as *L'allenatore nel pallone* and *Il... Belpaese*, to auteur cinema. For her performance in Marco Ferreri's *L'ultima donna* (The Last Woman), she received the Nastro d'Argento for Best Supporting Actress in 1976. Also active on the small screen, she alternated between acting in TV series and dramas, television hosting, and her work as a journalist, establishing herself as a multifaceted figure in Italian entertainment.
