Gloria Stuart (1910-2010) was an American actress whose career spanned over seventy years, from the 1930s to the early 2000s. She became known during the Golden Age of Hollywood, appearing in numerous films, including the horror classics *The Invisible Man* (1933) and *The Old Dark House* (1932). After largely retiring from acting in the late 1940s to pursue painting, she returned to international fame in 1997, portraying the elderly Rose DeWitt Bukater in James Cameron's blockbuster film *Titanic*.
