Gloria Talbott (1931-2000) was an American actress, known primarily for her roles in science fiction and horror films of the 1950s, which earned her the nickname "scream queen." Her career in genre cinema was cemented by films such as *I Was a Teenage Werewolf* (1957), *The Daughter of Dr. Jekyll* (1957), and *The Cyclops* (1957). However, she also demonstrated considerable versatility by appearing in prestigious productions such as the melodrama *All That Heaven Allows* (1955), alongside Rock Hudson and Jane Wyman, and the comedy *We're No Angels* (1955) with Humphrey Bogart. She was also a prolific figure on the small screen, appearing as a guest star in numerous successful television series, including *Zorro*, *Perry Mason*, and *Gunsmoke*.
