
Greg Cruttwell
Greg Cruttwell (born London, 22 March 1960) is a British actor, screenwriter, and football executive. He rose to prominence as an actor primarily in the 1990s, noted for his acclaimed performance as Jeremy G. Smart, the arrogant yuppie in Mike Leigh's film "Naked" (1993), a role that remains the most iconic of his career. His filmography also includes appearances in films such as "Bird on a Wire" (1990) and "An Awfully Big Adventure" (1995). Subsequently, Cruttwell stepped away from acting to focus on football. In 2001, he founded Balham FC, a London-based football academy. As its director, he has gained significant recognition for discovering and developing young talent who have gone on to play professionally, including Portuguese international footballer Fabio Carvalho. His academy is considered a model of success in youth football development in the United Kingdom.
