
Grégoire Colin
Grégoire Colin, born on July 27, 1975, in Châtenay-Malabry, is a French actor who became a prominent figure in auteur cinema starting in the 1990s. After his debut in *L'Année de l'éveil* (1991), he gained critical attention with roles in films such as *Olivier, Olivier* (1992) by Agnès Varda, which earned him a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actor. His career is inextricably linked to director Claire Denis, with whom he has formed a long-standing artistic collaboration that includes key works such as *Nénette et Boni* (1996), *Beau Travail* (1999), and *35 rhums* (2008). For his intense performance in *Nénette et Boni*, he won the Leopard for Best Actor at the Locarno Film Festival.
