
Guillermo Montesinos
Guillermo Montesinos, born in Castellón de la Plana in 1948, is a highly experienced Spanish actor. His career began in theater in the 1970s and later became established in Spanish cinema during the following decade, where he became a recurring and well-regarded face. He is best known for his roles in iconic films such as "La vaquilla" (1985) by Luis García Berlanga and for his collaboration with Pedro Almodóvar, playing the memorable taxi driver in "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown" (1988), a role that brought him international recognition. A versatile actor, he has also worked extensively in numerous television series and has maintained a solid and constant presence on the stage. His long and prolific career has been recognized with several awards, notably the Honorary Award of the Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani in 2020, in recognition of his contribution to Spanish cinema.
