Günter Pfitzmann (Berlin, 8 April 1924 – Berlin, 30 May 2003) was a German actor and voice actor. His career began in the theatre, where he was a member of the renowned Berlin ensemble "Kabarett der Komiker." At the same time, he became one of the most recognizable voices in German dubbing, lending his voice to international actors such as Jean Gabin. He achieved widespread popularity in film and television. His notable film roles include Sergeant Heilmann in the anti-war film *The Bridge* (1959). On the small screen, he became a beloved figure thanks to successful series like *Drei Damen vom Grill* and, most notably, *Praxis Bülowbogen*, in which he played Dr. Peter Brockmann, a role that definitively cemented his fame. For his artistic contributions, Pfitzmann received numerous awards, including the Goldene Kamera and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, confirming his status as an icon of German popular culture.
