Joseph Harry Fowler Connick Jr., known as Harry Connick Jr., is an American singer, pianist, composer, actor, and bandleader. Born in New Orleans, he achieved international fame in 1989 with the soundtrack for the film *When Harry Met Sally...*, for which he won his first Grammy Award. His musical career is deeply rooted in jazz, swing, and the big band sound, genres he helped revitalize with successful albums such as *We Are in Love* and *Blue Light, Red Light*.
