Hart Bochner is a Canadian actor, director, and screenwriter, born in Toronto on October 3, 1956. The son of actor Lloyd Bochner, he began his film career in the late 1970s, gaining visibility with the film *Breaking Away* (1979). His most iconic role is probably that of the arrogant businessman Harry Ellis in the action film *Die Hard* (1988). His filmography as an actor also includes titles such as *Supergirl* (1984), the psychological thriller *Apartment Zero* (1988), and *Mr. Destiny* (1990). Parallel to his acting, he pursued a career as a director, helming the cult comedies *PCU* (1994) and *High School High* (1996), as well as the film *Just Add Water* (2008), which he also wrote. For his performance in *Apartment Zero*, he won a Golden Space Needle Award at the Seattle International Film Festival, solidifying his artistic versatility between commercial and independent cinema.
