
Heather Burns
Heather Burns is an American actress born in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, she began her career, gaining recognition in the late 1990s. She is primarily known for her supporting roles in successful comedies. Her most notable roles include Christina Plutzker in *You've Got Mail* (1998) and especially her portrayal of Cheryl Frasier, "Miss Rhode Island," in the film *Miss Congeniality* (2000) and its sequel, *Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous* (2005), both opposite Sandra Bullock, with whom she also worked in *Two Weeks Notice* (2002). Her filmography also includes *Bewitched* (2005). On television, she played the recurring role of Leah in the HBO series *Bored to Death* and has guest-starred in numerous series, including several installments of the *Law & Order* franchise. For her performance as part of the cast of *Miss Congeniality*, she received a nomination at the Online Film & Television Association Awards.
