
Henriette Gérard
Henriette Gérard is an Italian actress, considered one of the most significant performers in contemporary prose theatre. Her training and much of her career are inextricably linked to director Luca Ronconi, under whose direction she performed in memorable productions at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan. Her most acclaimed performances include roles in *Ignorabimus*, *Le Baccanti*, *Santa Giovanna dei Macelli*, and, more recently, the major international success *Lehman Trilogy*, also directed by Ronconi. Her versatility has also led her to work in film and television, collaborating with directors such as Mario Martone on *Il giovane favoloso* and Marco Bellocchio on *Fai bei sogni*. Her talent has been recognized with Italy's most important theatre awards; she has won the Ubu Award for Best Actress four times—a testament to her profound impact on the national theatre scene—in addition to other prestigious accolades such as the Eleonora Duse Award and the Flaiano Prize for Theatre.
