Henrik Dahl
Henrik Dahl is a Danish sociologist, author, and politician born in 1960. He gained academic prominence with his doctoral thesis, *Hvis din nabo var en bil* (1997), an innovative analysis of lifestyles in Danish society. As an author, he has published numerous essays and books on cultural criticism, including *Den sídste sippelse* (1999) and *Spildte kræfter* (2006), establishing himself as an influential voice in public debate. In 1998, he was awarded the prestigious Rosenkjær Prize for his contribution to the dissemination of knowledge. His career took a new turn in 2015 when he was elected to the Folketing (the Danish Parliament) with the Liberal Alliance. Subsequently, he was among the founding members of the Moderates party. His path combines the rigor of sociological analysis with political engagement, maintaining a constant focus on the transformations of contemporary society.
