Henry Corden
Henry Corden (born Henry Cohen; Montreal, January 6, 1920 – Los Angeles, May 19, 2005) was a Canadian-American actor and voice actor. He began his career as a character actor, appearing in numerous films and television series starting in the 1940s, often in supporting roles. However, his fame is inextricably linked to the world of voice acting. He became the second official voice of Fred Flintstone after the death of the original voice actor, Alan Reed, in 1977. Corden lent his baritone voice to the character for nearly thirty years in countless spin-off series, television specials, and commercial products, becoming the definitive voice for subsequent generations. His prolific collaboration with the Hanna-Barbera studio also included roles in other notable productions such as *The Atom Ant/Secret Squirrel Show* and *The New Tom & Jerry Show*. His most significant recognition remains his enduring and iconic association with one of the most beloved characters in animation history.
