Herbert Bunston (1874-1935) was a British actor whose career spanned both theatre and cinema. After debuting on the English stage and working on Broadway, he moved to Hollywood with the advent of sound, becoming a reliable character actor. He is primarily remembered for the role of Dr. John Seward in Tod Browning's horror classic *Dracula* (1931), where he acted alongside Bela Lugosi. His filmography includes appearances in highly prestigious productions such as *All Quiet on the Western Front* (1930), winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture, which solidified his presence in American cinema. His other notable films include *The Mummy* (1932) and *A Midsummer Night's Dream* (1935).
