Hilary Bamberger

Hilary Bamberger is an American artist and printmaker, known for her work in printmaking and for her academic career. Her artistic practice focuses primarily on intaglio techniques, such as etching and aquatint, through which she explores urban and natural landscapes. Her works are characterized by meticulous attention to detail and an often contemplative atmosphere that investigates the relationship between the human-built environment and the natural world. In addition to her artistic practice, Bamberger has had a significant role as an educator, serving as a professor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Throughout her career, she has received major awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation.
