Hsu Feng is a Taiwanese actress and film producer, best known for her iconic performances in director King Hu's *wuxia* films. She began her career in the late 1960s, achieving international fame with leading roles in masterpieces such as *Dragon Inn* (1967) and *A Touch of Zen* (1971). Her intense and charismatic screen presence made her a symbol of the heroic swordswoman in martial arts cinema. For her performances, she won two Golden Horse Awards for Best Actress, for *Assassin* (1976) and *The Pioneers* (1980). After retiring from acting in the early 1980s, she embarked on a successful career as a producer. Her production company produced Chen Kaige's acclaimed film *Farewell My Concubine* (1993), which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, a historic milestone for Chinese-language cinema. In 2017, she was awarded the Golden Horse Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her fundamental contribution to the film industry.
