Hsueh Han is a Taiwanese poet, writer, and translator, considered one of the most significant voices in the island's contemporary poetry. A prominent member of the Li Poetry Society (笠詩社), a collective instrumental in promoting Nativist literature, she has helped define a local literary identity. Her poetry is characterized by a lyrical and introspective style, exploring themes such as the condition of women, the relationship with nature, social reality, and a connection to the Taiwanese land. Her most notable collections include *The Square* (廣場). In addition to her work as an author, she is an acclaimed translator, particularly from Japanese.
