
Hugo Diego Garcia
Hugo Diego Garcia is a French actor, director, and screenwriter of Spanish descent, born in Paris. He gained international recognition with the short film *Tony* (2019), which he wrote, directed, and starred in. The work, exploring themes of violence and redemption in the Parisian suburbs, was shortlisted for the 2021 César Awards and won numerous awards at international festivals, including the Rome Independent Film Festival. He later directed and starred in the short film *Cagnolino* (2021). As an actor, his career includes significant roles such as in Alexandra Lamy's television film *Touchées* (2022) and as Doctor Bernard Rieux in the television series *La Peste* (2024), a modern adaptation of Albert Camus's novel of the same name.
