Huntz Hall
Henry Richard "Huntz" Hall, born in New York on August 15, 1920, and died in Los Angeles on January 30, 1999, was an American actor, best known for being one of the original members of the Dead End Kids. He began his career on Broadway in the stage play *Dead End* (1935), reprising his role in the 1937 film adaptation of the same name. This began a long association with the group of actors that, after evolving through the names The Little Tough Guys and The East Side Kids, became famous as The Bowery Boys. For almost twenty years, Hall portrayed the comedic character of Horace Debussy "Sach" Jones in all 48 films of the series. After the group disbanded in 1958, he continued to act in supporting roles in film and television productions, appearing in works such as *Gentle Giant* (1967). For his significant contribution to the motion picture industry, he was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
