Ilse Trautschold
Ilse Trautschold (27 February 1911 – 17 May 1991) was a German actress, cabaret artist, and voice actress, celebrated for her character roles in post-war film and television. She began her career on the theater stages of Berlin, soon distinguishing herself in cabaret with ensembles such as "Die Stachelschweine" and "Die Wühlmäuse," where she honed her comedic talent and her typical blunt Berlin dialect ("Berliner Schnauze"). On the big screen, she specialized in portraying eccentric, witty, or good-hearted women. Her most notable works include the film *Berliner Ballade* (1948), the comedy *Das Spukschloß im Spessart* (1960), and, in her later years, the role of Oma Färber in the popular television series *Drei Damen vom Grill*. For her long and meritorious contribution to German cinema, in 1978 she was awarded the prestigious Deutscher Filmpreis (Filmband in Gold), Germany's highest film award.
