James Daughton
James Daughton (born in Rosemont, February 27, 1950) is an American actor, primarily active during the 1970s and 1980s. His fame is inextricably linked to the role of Gregory "Greg" Marmalard, the smug and impeccable president of the Omega Theta Pi fraternity in the 1978 cult film *Animal House*. Daughton reprised the role the following year in the short-lived spin-off television series *Delta House*. His film credits also include appearances in movies such as *Malibu Beach* (1978), *Spies Like Us* (1985), and *Blind Date* (1987). On television, he guest-starred in numerous popular series of the period, including *Happy Days*, *Charlie's Angels*, and *Murder, She Wrote*. Specializing in roles as affluent young men and charismatic antagonists, he gradually scaled back his acting career, later working as a talent agent and a social worker.
