Jamie Lee Curtis is an American actress and producer, the daughter of actors Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. She made her film debut in the role of Laurie Strode in the horror film *Halloween* (1978), which established her as a genre icon and a "scream queen," a status cemented by films like *The Fog* and *Terror Train*.
