Jean Lange
Jean Lange, born Jeanine Dinah Kalis, is a Canadian lyricist and songwriter, recognized for her significant contribution to country and pop music. She is best known for her prolific collaboration with her then-husband, producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, with whom she co-wrote some of the biggest international hits of the 1990s. Together, they wrote most of the songs for Shania Twain's albums *The Woman in Me* and *Come On Over*, including iconic tracks such as "You're Still the One," "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!," "From This Moment On," and "That Don't Impress Me Much." Her career also includes writing songs for artists such as Bryan Adams, Anne Murray, and Huey Lewis and the News. Her work has earned her numerous accolades, including two Grammy Awards for Best Country Song, both won for Shania Twain's hits. In 2008, she was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, cementing her lasting impact on contemporary music.
