Jennifer Ann "Jenny" Agutter is a British actress, born on 20 December 1952. She began her career as a child actress in the 1960s, achieving international fame with the film *The Railway Children* (1970). Her career was consolidated in the 1970s with roles in cult films such as *Walkabout* (1971), the science fiction classic *Logan's Run* (1976), and the horror film *An American Werewolf in London* (1981). For her performance in *Equus* (1977), she won a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress, and had previously received an Emmy Award for the television film *The Snow Goose* (1971). In more recent decades, she is known to the general public for her role as Sister Julienne in the hit television series *Call the Midwife*, which began in 2012, and for her appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In 2012, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her charitable services.
