Jenny Rainsford is a British actress, trained at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She is internationally known primarily for her role as Boo, the protagonist's deceased best friend, in Phoebe Waller-Bridge's multi-award-winning television series *Fleabag*. Her television career also includes significant roles in productions such as *Finding Alice*, as Nicola, and appearances in acclaimed series such as *Call the Midwife* and *Law & Order: UK*. In film, she has appeared in features such as *About Time* (2013) and *The Favourite* (2018). Also active in theatre, she has performed on the stages of major British institutions, including the National Theatre and the Almeida Theatre. For her performance in *Fleabag*, in 2020 she shared the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series with the rest of the cast.
