Jenny Slate is an American actress, comedian, voice actress, and author. She began her career in stand-up comedy and was a cast member on *Saturday Night Live* for one season (2009–2010). Her breakthrough leading role was in the film *Obvious Child* (2014), for which she won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy. She is known for her voice work in animated films such as *Zootopia* (Bellwether) and *The Secret Life of Pets* (Gidget), and in TV series like *Bob's Burgers* and *Big Mouth*.
