His extensive filmography includes highly successful works; among his most notable films are "The King and the Clown" (2005) and the box-office hit "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" (2014). On the small screen, he has appeared in popular historical dramas such as "Empress Ki" (2013) and "Six Flying Dragons" (2015). For his intense performance in "The King and the Clown," he received the prestigious Grand Bell Award for Best Supporting Actor.
