
Jeremy McWilliams
Jeremy McWilliams, born in Belfast on April 4, 1964, is a Northern Irish motorcycle racer known for his long and versatile career in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. He competed primarily in the 250cc and 500cc/MotoGP classes between 1993 and 2007, distinguishing himself with his riding style and his skill in motorcycle development. Among his most significant achievements are a victory at the 2001 Dutch TT in the 250cc class and two memorable pole positions in the premier class, achieved in Australia in 2000 on a twin-cylinder Aprilia and in 2002 with the two-stroke Proton KR, challenging technically superior motorcycles. After retiring from full-time competition, he continued his work as a test rider for several manufacturers, including KTM, contributing to the development of new prototypes. His career is also characterized by remarkable longevity, with participation and success in road racing events like the North West 200, even at an advanced age.
