
Jerzy Gudejko
Jerzy Gudejko, born in 1958, is a Polish actor and casting director, and a prominent figure in his country's cinema and theatre. After graduating in 1981 from the Warsaw Theatre Academy, he embarked on a prolific acting career, appearing in numerous film and television productions. His notable roles include films such as *Kiler* (1997) and *Sara* (1997), as well as several popular TV series in Poland. However, Gudejko is equally, if not more, known for his work as a casting director. He founded one of Poland's leading casting agencies, Agencja Aktorska Gudejko. Through his agency, he has contributed to the casting of films by world-renowned directors such as Roman Polański, Agnieszka Holland, and Andrzej Wajda, including the Academy Award-winning film *The Pianist* (2002). His dual role has made him a central and influential figure in the contemporary Polish film industry, recognized for his fundamental contribution to many successful national and international productions.
