
Joe Alwyn
Joe Alwyn, born in London in 1991, is a British actor and songwriter. A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, he made his debut in the lead role of Ang Lee's film *Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk* (2016). His career has since included roles in acclaimed productions such as *The Favourite* (2018), *Mary Queen of Scots* (2018), *Harriet* (2019), and the television series *Conversations with Friends* (2022). Among his acting accolades is the Trophée Chopard, which he received at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Alongside his acting career, Alwyn has worked as a songwriter under the pseudonym William Bowery. In this capacity, he co-wrote several songs for Taylor Swift's albums *folklore* and *evermore*, winning a Grammy Award as a co-producer in the Album of the Year category for *folklore* in 2021. His recent work includes the Yorgos Lanthimos film *Kinds of Kindness* (2024).
