**John Clive** (London, January 6, 1933 – Angmering, October 8, 2012) was a British actor and writer, known for his versatile film and theatrical career.

His presence on the big screen is particularly remembered for two iconic roles: he lent his voice to John Lennon in the famous Beatles animated film, "Yellow Submarine" (1968), and portrayed the author F. Alexander in Stanley Kubrick's dystopian masterpiece, "A Clockwork Orange" (1971).

Clive also appeared in several films from the popular British comedy series "Carry On," such as "Carry On Cleo" (1964) and "Carry On Abroad" (1972), demonstrating his talent for comedy.
