John Moulder-Brown
John Moulder-Brown, born in London on June 14, 1953, is a British actor whose career began at a young age. He achieved international fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s with a series of leading roles in films such as the Spanish thriller *La residenza* (1969), Maximilian Schell's drama *Primo amore* (1970), and, most notably, Jerzy Skolimowski's cult film *Deep End* (1970), which established him as an icon of European auteur cinema. His most acclaimed performance is arguably that of Prince Otto of Bavaria in Luchino Visconti's monumental film *Ludwig* (1973). Subsequently, his film work became less frequent, leading him to focus more on theatre and television. In 1979, he co-founded the renowned London-based acting school, the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA), which he directed for over twenty years, gradually withdrawing from acting.
