Conrad John Schuck, born on February 4, 1940, in Boston, is an American actor of film, television, and theater. His career took off with the role of Captain "Painless" Waldowski in Robert Altman's film M*A*S*H (1970), with whom he also collaborated on subsequent works. On television, he is best known for his role as Sergeant Charles Enright in the police drama series *McMillan & Wife* (1971-1977) alongside Rock Hudson, and for playing Herman Munster in the sitcom *The Munsters Today* (1988-1991). His filmography also includes appearances in the Star Trek universe, where he played the Klingon ambassador in the films *Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home* and *Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country*. His stage career is equally significant, with acclaimed performances in the role of Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks in numerous productions of the musical *Annie*. Although he has not received major awards, his long and versatile career has made him a familiar and respected face in the entertainment industry.
