
Juanin Clay
Juanin Clay (1949-1995) was an American actress whose career, although brief, left a distinctive mark on both film and television in the 1970s and 1980s. Born in Los Angeles, she first gained significant popularity in the world of soap operas, playing the intriguing role of Raven Alexander in The Edge of Night from 1976 to 1977. On the big screen, her most iconic role is undoubtedly that of Pat Healy, the mother of the young protagonist David Lightman (played by Matthew Broderick), in the Cold War classic WarGames (1983). She also appeared in other films such as The Survivors (1983) and was a recurring face in numerous successful TV series of the era, including MacGyver and Murder, She Wrote. Her promising career was tragically cut short by her untimely death in 1995, at the age of 45, due to breast cancer.
