Julia Kassar is a Lebanese actress and academic, considered one of the most important figures in her country's theatre and film scene. Trained at the Institute of Fine Arts at the Lebanese University, she began her career in theatre, collaborating with the most influential Lebanese directors, including Roger Assaf. Her extensive stage work has been accompanied by a notable film career that has made her an internationally recognized face. Her most significant performances include roles in acclaimed films such as Nadine Labaki's *Where Do We Go Now?* (2011), *Tramontane* (2016), and Ziad Doueiri's *The Insult* (2017). For her performance in *Tramontane*, she won the Best Actress award at the Dubai International Film Festival. Her acting style is characterized by great intensity and psychological depth, making her one of the most respected actresses in contemporary Arab cinema.
