
Julian Glover
Julian Wyatt Glover is a British actor with a long and prolific career spanning theatre, film, and television. He is known to international audiences for his memorable antagonist roles in celebrated franchises, such as General Veers in *The Empire Strikes Back*, the treacherous archaeologist Walter Donovan in *Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade*, and the tycoon Aris Kristatos in the James Bond film *For Your Eyes Only*. In television, he gained renewed popularity for portraying Grand Maester Pycelle in the HBO series *Game of Thrones* and has appeared in productions such as *Doctor Who*. A classically trained actor and an associate member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he has received significant accolades for his stage work, including the 1993 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in *Henry IV*.
