
Kåre Hedebrant
Kåre Hedebrant, born on June 28, 1995, in Stockholm, is a Swedish actor. He is internationally known for his debut role as Oskar in the Swedish horror film *Låt den rätte komma in* (2008), directed by Tomas Alfredson. His portrayal of a bullied twelve-year-old who befriends a vampire earned him critical acclaim and several accolades, including the Best Actor award at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards and the Most Promising Performer award from the Chicago Film Critics Association, as well as a nomination at the Young Artist Awards. Subsequently, Hedebrant acted in the Norwegian comedy *Amors baller* (2011) and had a recurring role in the Swedish science fiction television series *Äkta människor* (Real Humans) in 2012. In addition to acting, he was also the bassist for the band The Broadcasting Service, showcasing his artistic versatility. His career, launched by a high-impact debut, has since developed primarily within the Scandinavian film and television scene.
